Answer: 3rd lot I've bought thinking it was 3.5 litres. Need I say more. -

Can it be used on canal boat exterior? On already painted surfaces?
Answer: Yes, it's waterproof but you need to sand the wood, then fill, then prime, then paint. -

Can you use it on wood?
Answer: Yes, definitely. I've been a bench joiner for 25 years and with this filler, it's so smooth after sanding. The finish paintwork is fantastic. My dog ripped off my nosing on my stairs and after I replaced the nosing and used this filler, the finished results are always great. I hope this helps. -
Question:
Is there a best before date?
Answer: Don't think so, but as soon as the lid is taken off, this evaporates. So you would need to take out as much as necessary and replace the lid quickly.
