Answer: Yes, the bag includes a thickened anti-shock laptop velcro compartment to secure laptops efficiently. -

Answer: The bag measures 35cm in length, 27cm in height, and 11cm in width. -

Answer: Some material that shrinks as soon as it gets wet. -

Answer: I've had my bag for about 2 years now and I can still get it balanced, so yes, quite rigid. Also, when you first get the bag, you'll find the whole thing quite rigid but as you use, its movement will free up given a bit of time. -

Is the leather tanned?
Answer: This item is not tanned leather, it's made of canvas. -

Does outside flap fasten with poppers or do you fasten the straps?
Answer: The outside flap fastens with quick magnetic snaps and the straps are not detachable but you can easily adjust their length when needed. -

Does the bag have a specific water bottle pocket?
Answer: Not specifically, although I frequently carry a 500ml water bottle in mine. There is plenty of room, including small outer pockets on the ends of the bag, which do not require you to open the main bag or any zips. It is a very versatile bag and carries my daily life support kit. I recommend purchase as a basic carryall. -

Answer: It measures 15 inches, but I don't have a MacBook to try. -
