Answer: I have a Dremel 3000 which is very similar, upon which I attach these. They have a standard 3.2mm shanks, for which you should have the collet. -

Can you machine cast iron?
Answer: As far as I am aware, the bits are for wood only. I wouldn't even try to use them on cast iron. -

Will this set fit my Dremel 8200?
Answer: The bits will fit for certain, but do check with Dremel whether router attachments 335 and/or 231 will fit your 8200 dri. -

What is the material? Is it HSS or tungsten carbide?
Answer: Definitely not tungsten carbide - most likely HSS, but this is not stated anywhere, even on Dremel's website. -

Will they fit a Dremel Trio?
Answer: No, these won't fit a Dremel Trio, only a Rotary Tool. -

Answer: When I purchased mine, there was no information as to the pattern the bits formed - but, as I make things from wood, I did already know by looking at each bit. -

Answer: There are two bits that have bearing ends, so they could be used with a template. You really need a router bit with a ball bearing.
