Tenmat Lamp Shades FF130E-6 Editorial Review
The FF130E Recessed Light Cover has proven to be an effective solution for energy-Conscious homeowners aiming to minimize heat loss during the winter and heat gain during the summer. With increased awareness about energy Consumption, one user documented their experience following a significant reduction in electricity use, noting that previously uninsulated recessed lights were a key culprit in their home energy inefficiency. Upon installing the light covers, a marked improvement was observed in thermal performance, with less heat escaping into the attic and therefore optimizing HVAC efficiency. Installation, however, presents challenges, as highlighted in user feedback. The process can be particularly arduous in hot weather, and while some tools like Great Stuff foam were praised for their effectiveness, the installation reveal that a foam gun with a longer barrel could have greatly simplified the task. Overall, users express satisfaction with the dampening of thermal loss provided by these covers, although there are suggestions for improvement regarding size in relation to various fixtures. Additionally, these light covers provide a versatile application beyond recessed lights, including bathroom fans, enhancing their appeal as a multifaceted energy-saving solution. While some users have recommended supplemental materials to boost effectiveness, the Consensus remains that the FF130E Recessed Light Cover is a worthy investment for those looking to bolster home insulation and energy efficiency. **
