The Meiso Replacement Coiled Repair Audio Cable seems to be a decent cable at first. The leads are long enough and soldering is fairly easy. However, issues start to appear after a few months of use. The adapter becomes loose and the jack starts to sag, resulting in one channel being completely gone. The previous cord on the headphones lasted 18 years, while this one barely made it to the two-year mark with less usage. It seems that you get what you pay for. The cable preparation is helpful, saving you the trouble of stripping and tinning the headphone end. Unfortunately, the description is inaccurate as it is not the 6-foot coiled cable that stretches to 10 feet, but rather a 3-foot coiled cable that may stretch to 6 feet. Overall, it is not a reliable replacement option.
