Savant Digital Flow Meter 38 NPT for Water Filter

The Savant 3/8" Countdown Digital Water Timer with LCD Display has garnered a mix of positive and negative feedback from customers. Users appreciate the precision and features of the water monitor, especially in conjunction with Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. The ability to track water flow, gallon usage, and the countdown timer for filter changes has proven particularly beneficial. Reviewers note that the monitor effectively indicates whether water is flowing, helping to identify any potential issues with the system that could result in wasted water. Many customers have found it easy to set up and reader-friendly, praising the clear display that cycles through important information like remaining days and gallons processed. The ability to customize thresholds fits well with individual needs, enhancing the utility of this product. On the downside, one of the major criticisms revolves around the supplied fittings, which many customers found inadequate for proper installation. Users reported that the fittings are not the correct type for most applications, leading to potential leaks despite the pre-application of Teflon tape—a solution that was deemed unnecessary if the correct fittings were provided from the outset. This has created frustrations for some users, who have had to search for replacements to ensure proper functioning. Overall, the Savant 3/8" Countdown Digital Water Timer is well-received for its performance, particularly for those utilizing it with RO systems, though it has room for improvement in providing high-quality fittings. **
