The time clock works offline, and punches are stored in the clock for future use even when the internet is down. However, it is only advantageous when connecting it to the internet for remote access. Customer reviews suggest that the clock is complicated to set up, and the interface is confusing and hard to navigate. Some users also experienced connectivity issues with the machine, and the IP address resets every time the machine loses power.
