The clips stick well with a strong hold only if you clean the area with alcohol first. However, some customers had trouble with the adhesive, and they had to resort to other options such as nylon zip ties. Some found them too big for normal brake/shifter cables, and the guides wouldn't stick to their painted frame. One customer spent an additional seven dollars for Gorilla mounting tape to complete the project.
