VRIG Express Tripods MG-03+TP-06 Editorial Review
The VRIG 21.6" Magnetic Selfie Stick Tripod has garnered a commendable response from users for its innovative design and functionality, specifically its dual-purpose capability as both a selfie stick and a tripod. The common sentiment amongst reviewers is that this device caters well to the needs of modern smartphone photography, especially with its strong magnetic hold provided by the included magnetic ring, which is fundamental for securely attaching devices like the iPhone 12 to 15 Pro Max series without apprehension of them falling. Constructed with a high degree of versatility, the tripod features five telescopic sections that allow users to extend it to heights of up to 25 inches, making it suitable for a range of shooting angles. The ball head design at the top provides ease of positioning, allowing for agile adjustments to frame the perfect shot. The tripod's stability reinforces user confidence when using it for various photography purposes, although care should be taken not to overload it when the phone is extended too far forward. Additionally, the wireless remote adds a vital layer of convenience. Users have reported that connecting the remote to their devices is straightforward, allowing for hassle-free photography without the complication of setting a timer or using phone voice commands. Reviewers also highlighted the device's foldable mechanism, which compacts into a size that is manageable for travel. However, some concerns were raised regarding the supplied magnetic ring, which lacks the necessary alignment features for optimal wireless charging. Users were advised to seek out appropriate MagSafe rings for charging purposes to avoid potential heating issues and inefficiencies. In summary, while the VRIG Magnetic Selfie Stick Tripod has some minor drawbacks, especially related to the magnetic ring's functionality for charging, its strengths lie in its sturdy build, ease of use, and multi-functionality which won over the majority of users. **
