For everyday use, should I buy a thicker mattress?
Answer: The mattress it comes with is good for travel, but after using it nightly with my 3 month old it is lumpy and misshapen. It's worth buying something else, but know it will probably need to be custom since the bassinet is not a standard size. I also would not recommend anything more than 1 inch thick due to safety. -

Can the bassinet go on both sides of the bed?
Answer: Yes but only one side has the zip down feature for easy use. However, you can just rotate it around and it will do the same, so it is universal. -

What size mattress can I buy for this?
Answer: Inside the bassinet is about 19*33 inches but I don’t know if a thicker mattress will be safe for your baby when the zipper is open -

What are the height levels?
Answer: Approximately 3ft highest setting… Not sure lowest setting…this is at my son’s house, but you can get the gest of it. -

How tall is the highest height setting?
Answer: From floor to the very top of the bassinet is 33 in. From floor to the mattress is closer to 25 in.
