Answer: It should work with any smart phone. Think of it as your AUX input that is found in most new cars now days. The clarity will depend on the quality of your MP3 and your cassette player. As for the noise, I really cannot comment. I was using this device in a 2004 volvo s60, original equipment and did not experience any noise. -

Does the cassette fit most cassette players?
Answer: Only for cars that have a cassette player were the side flap stays open. If you are trying to use it for a portible cassette palyer it will not work. -

Does this device work with the options for play, skip, etc? Like, can I open Pandora on my plugged in phone and skip/pause songs from the dashboard?
Answer: Unfortunately I do not have a dashboard that can do that since its a 99 Honda Accord. It plays as a tape for me and I control it from my phone, I set it to the car mode in all of those music apps on my phone. Hope that helps you. -
Question:
Sometimes the sound randomly becomes very quiet and switches to one speaker only. Any fixes?
Answer: This happens to every Cassette to AUX product. Plugging and unplugging slowly wears down the connection between the cable and the actual AUX plug. I end up replacing mine once every 2-4 years. Had the same car for 20 years and Tape to AUX is superior to FM Bluetooth transmitters (lots of white noise). -
Question:
Does it connect to full stereo? I recently bought one and it only plays through the front speakers.
Answer: I does play stereo. If it is playing through both left and right front speakers then you need to adjust your fader on the stereo to get the back speakers to come on. I bought a Sony brand one of these and I am much happier with it. -

Can you leave the cassette in for as long as you want?
Answer: Forever! So long as it's doing its job :) -

Will if work for music stored on your ipad mini?
Answer: If the iPad mini has a 3.5 mm headphone jack then yes. -
Question:
Does this charge the ipod while playing?
Answer: No, but you can plug in your charger while this is plugged in and it shouldn't hinder charging or playing. It doesn't on my iPhone 4 anyway.
