Klein Tools 21050 Large Cable Stripper (750-350 MCM)

The product in question has garnered a range of experiences from professional electricians, highlighting both its advantages and limitations. Many users appreciate the efficiency this tool brings to their work, especially when compared to more conventional methods like using a utility blade. Electricians find that it cuts down on time and enhances the speed of wire stripping, particularly praising its effectiveness on THHN insulation. However, the product has faced criticism due to compatibility issues with certain wire types, particularly the 350 UG wire. Users note that it does not fit well with specific brands, suggesting that while it performs admirably for some materials, it may not be suitable for all insulation types, particularly those that are not rubber-coated. Additionally, while some find the tool effective, others had trouble using it with larger wire sizes, indicating a lack of versatility with dies. Despite the tool's performance when compatible with the correct wire size, it seems to fall short for those needing a more universal solution. There's also a suggestion from users for improved ergonomics, as a better hand grip could enhance user experience during prolonged use. Overall, this tool appears to be a valuable asset for electricians working with specific wire types but comes with caveats regarding compatibility. **
