Hey Arnold: The Final Season

**** The excitement surrounding the release of "Hey Arnold! Seasons 1-5" reflects a deep and nostalgic appreciation from fans of the beloved animated series. With the launch of the fifth season DVD set, viewers are treated to a collection that compiles 15 engaging episodes, showcasing the show's unique blend of humor and heartfelt themes. Many customers express their delight in seeing episodes like "Married" and "The Journal" which delve into emotional storylines, particularly the complex relationship between Arnold and Helga, as well as explorations of family dynamics and personal growth. Fans appreciate the quality of the DVD-R format, reporting that the audio and picture quality remain excellent, reminiscent of the original airings from the '90s. This is a testament to the care taken in producing these sets, which, while basic in terms of menu design and packaging, deliver the classic content fans are eager to revisit. However, a minor point of contention among purists is the limitation on theme song playbacks, which are only featured before the first episode on each disc. Moreover, the overall reception of these Made On Demand offerings highlights a broader desire for proper remastered releases with special features—a longing that many hope will ultimately encourage Nickelodeon to heed the call for more comprehensive archival collections of their classic programs. Nevertheless, the availability of these seasons on DVD through Amazon is widely praised as a step in the right direction for long-time fans, and the heartfelt memories these episodes evoke underscore their lasting impact on viewers. **
