The COAST Founder's Collection SELECT LX504 pocketknife offers a sharp blade and good quality flip. It is compact and comes sharp out of the box. The handle and blade are well designed, but the flipping tab and lock release spring are a little difficult to grip. The deployment is not the smoothest but still better than many other knives. Overall, it is a decent addition to a collection, but there may be better options for the price, such as the Smith and Wesson 24/7 tanto.
