Answer: Don't know, depends if it is a Kohler engine. -
Question:
I've cranked for 30 minutes and even changed the spark plug and will not even try to start, am I doin somethin wrong?
Answer: You need three things for an engine to run. Ignition, fuel, and compression. If any one or more is missing your engine won’t start. Main items for each: Ignition - kill wire grounded, bad coil. Fuel- plugged carburetor or no fuel. Compression- piston rings. Good luck. -

Are the throttle plate screws brass or steel? And are they secured with some locktite?
Answer: Steel.
