These spring clamps have a maximum opening size of 1.6 inches and a maximum clamping thickness of 1 inch. They are not recommended for long-term use underwater. The swivel pads are approximately 9/16" wide. They are not suitable for holding charger wires together. They come in a pack of 10 and can be used to hold a quilt sandwich together or for securing a temporary projector screen, but they are not very strong and the orange end pieces come off easily. They are recommended for light-duty use and not for heavy-duty hold or if you have small children.
