The card comes with 6 SATA cables and a low profile bracket, making it easy to install into various systems. One customer was able to use the card with TrueNAS 13 on an HP miniserver G10 box and found it to also be compatible with Syba 5 disk external enclosures. This customer reported that the included SATA cables were short but appreciated having a couple of short cables. Another customer noted that the read/write speeds are restricted to 500MBps, even when using Striped volumes in Windows 10, due to the fact that the ASM1166 chip natively supports only 6 SATA connections. While this customer tested the card with Windows 10, this limitation should apply to other operating systems as well.
