The ADC Adscope 608 Premium Convertible Clinician Stethoscope with Tunable AFD Technology is a great alternative to Littmann stethoscopes. The stethoscope is available in a wide range of colors and comes with a breast cancer awareness metallic pink option. The metal components of the stethoscope are made of stainless steel, while the diaphragms are made of PVC, and the bell has a non-chill phthalate-free rim for patient comfort. The AFD technology allows the user to tune the diaphragm's frequency by altering pressure on both the pediatric and adult diaphragms to enhance the lower and higher frequencies, respectively. The pediatric diaphragm's smaller size enhances higher frequencies, making it suitable for smaller patients. The stethoscope has excellent acoustics, and the tubing is very flexible, making it comfortable for long periods of use. However, the tubing collects fur easily, making it less suitable for veterinary settings.
