It comes in a beautiful grey color that looks great next to any wood stove. However, it is made in China and the handle on the lid is not sturdy as it can easily come off. The lid doesn't snap shut but rather sits on top with a lip to keep it placed properly which is not ideal as ashes may spill out if the bucket tips over. The brush bristles are made of an unknown material but are not plastic. The ash scoop works well but the shovel is cheaply made. The bucket is light-weight and may not withstand heavy wind or storms. It can be kept outside but will eventually rust. Overall, the Smedley & York Grey Ash Bucket with Lid is a decent product for its price as it comes with a broom and ash shovel. However, it has some flaws such as the unsteady lid and the cheaply made shovel.
