It's a recommended camera for 3D tours. The camera is better suited for taking still photos with the one-inch sensors, as the video quality isn't as great. The camera works fine with various plugins, but the plugins come with an extra $20 charge to use them. The camera connects with a smartphone app for capturing projecting results.
