Bescor Tripod Heads MP1AC Editorial Review
The Bescor MP-101 Motorized Pan & Tilt Head has garnered a mixed but generally positive reception from customers over time. Users have appreciated its functionality, particularly its effectiveness in handling heavier camcorders and DSLRs like the Nikon D3300 and Canon XA50. With two years of continuous use without issues from some users, this device has proven to be reliable and met or even exceeded expectations. Many have described its operation as quiet and smooth, which is critical for both video streaming and high-quality recording. However, the device is not without its challenges. Several reviews mentioned the limitations of the wired remote, expressing a desire for a wireless alternative for greater flexibility during operation, as the cord can obstruct movement. Additionally, there were reports of mechanical problems, particularly with horizontal rotation, which left some users frustrated. Concerns about weight and stability were also highlighted, as the MP-101 requires a sturdy tripod to prevent tipping, especially given its relatively heavy build. Overall, while users recognize that the Bescor MP-101 is a high-quality product that can handle professional cameras effectively, they recommend Considering the potential challenges regarding customization and setup. **
