Blade & Soul: Complete Collection [Blu-ray]

Blade & Soul: Complete Collection is an anime based on the popular game. The story follows the adventures of a highly-skilled assassin who seeks revenge after her clan is destroyed and her master is murdered. The anime is filled with violence, blood, and gore, so it may not be suitable for all viewers. One aspect of the anime that stands out is the protagonist's detachment. She is not cold-hearted, but rather so accustomed to killing that it has become routine for her. However, this lack of emotional depth may make it difficult for some viewers to connect with her character. The plot of Blade & Soul: Complete Collection is fairly simplistic, focusing mainly on the main character's quest for revenge. There is not much character development, and the backstories of many characters remain mostly unknown. This simplicity may appeal to viewers who are looking for a straightforward anime, but it could also lead to boredom for some. On the positive side, the anime features great art and animation. The characters, who are all adults, are endearing, and the narrative arc is well done. The twists and intricacies of the story are well put together, making for an enjoyable watch. Overall, Blade & Soul: Complete Collection offers a decent anime experience for fans of action and revenge. However, its lack of depth and character development may not resonate with every viewer.
