The Brother PPF4750E is a powerful fax machine that comes with a toner cartridge. It is not compatible with digital phone lines, but can store incoming faxes up to 50 pages. It prints confirmation reports upon sending out fax messages. The Brother PPF4750E is compatible with Mac OS up to version 10.10 (Yosemite). It would not function as a scanner for document transfers to your computer. It uses TN430(Black, Yields approx. 3,000 pages) and TN460(High-yield, Black, Yields approx. 6,000) for toner cartridges. It received mixed reviews, with some customers happy with the machine's performance and longevity, while others have experienced disappointing malfunctions requiring expensive repairs or replacement of parts.
