While the photographs show a bright and pretty aqua blue with glittery peacocks at the center, customers have reported that the product is a lot darker in shade, almost black. The supposed glittery peacocks are distorted and appear as a single circle on both rugs. Quality-wise, the product is very thin and poor, with creases from shipping across China and the US that refuse to come out. The photographs in the advertisement are inaccurate and extremely deceptive in comparison to the actual product. Customers who expected quality doormats for their kitchens were let down by the product.
