Marine-Tex RM302K 14 oz, Gray is a great alternative to epoxy resin for fixing holes and cracks in boats, gun bedding, and repairs of all types. While it cannot be thickened like epoxy resin for larger repairs, it can be used to fill small holes up to 1/8 - 3/16”. For larger repairs of 3/8” or larger, a layer of fiberglass cloth is recommended. This product is easy to mix and apply with a stiff Consistency that prevents sagging out of filled holes. Marine-Tex RM302K is easy to sand and can be painted once cured. However, the color is a fairly light grey and it will not match the color of the original surface, making it unsuitable for cosmetic repair work.
