How long do the batteries last at different light levels?
Answer: The life of the batteries is about the same as a flashlight, approximately 10 continuous hours. -

What is the light output at each light level?
Answer: I do not know. The light intensity is very hard to look at when on high, so it is recommended to put them up above your eyesight. Carry extra batteries with you so if they do go out you will have something to replace the dead ones. -

Can you use rechargeable AA batteries in these lanterns?
Answer: I haven’t used rechargeable batteries in this device, but as in any device using a battery I don’t see why a rechargeable battery would not work. -

How many lumens?
Answer: 60 lumen. -

Where are these lanterns made?
Answer: They are made in China. -
Question:
How many batteries are needed in each lantern?
Answer: Three AA batteries are needed in each lantern. -

Is the Etekcity rechargeable lantern with battery backup still available?
Answer: Yes, the model # CL30 takes 3 1.5V batteries. -
Question:
What is the difference between this upgraded version and the previous version, other than this has 3 lanterns and the previous has 2 lanterns for $17?
Answer: I'm not sure if there's a difference. These lanterns are good bang for the buck but I have found some similar but brighter. However, they are more expensive.
