The Foam Cutter Tool kit is a great tool for cutting foam but has its limitations. It heats up pretty hot and is helpful in cutting foam boards or blocks but it is limited when it comes to cutting a U-channel. The temperature can be reduced when the blade isn't working the foam, but it recovers quickly if given a minute to warm up again. The sled has a slight warped shape, but it is barely noticeable and did not seem to make any significant difference in quality. It is a great purchase for working on projects that require cutting wires and electrical boxes or switch/outlet boxes, as it works amazingly well for these applications. However, it may take longer to cut through the material, and the quality of the cut will impact the temperature.
