Answer: The XCU09PT is more for climbing and liming, you can use it with one hand. The XCU04PT1 is more for cutting trees, and rounds. -

Does it get hot and shut off often? I have the 18 volt version and it overheats and shuts off all the time.

Answer: Mine came with the saw, two batteries and a dual bank charger. I purchased two spare batteries when I bought the saw. -

Does this model come with case? Also, is charging time 45min?
Answer: Unfortunately, no case is included. 45mins for 2 5Ah batteries is accurate.
