The Kupo Baby 5/8in (16mm) Side Arm is a solid addition to C Stands that allows users to extend a light off the central axis and over the axis of a lens. This can often eliminate the need to use a full boom arm and get the stand out of the photographer's way. The build quality is good and it seems to be holding up well, but as with non-original brand equipment, some users wonder how long the knobs, threads, welds, and materials will hold up under professional use. A rubber pipe coupling was needed to create enough friction inside the clamp to hold the arm up when clamping it on a Kupo baby roller stand. Overall, this side arm solved many problems and is an excellent quality.
