What is the weight limit?
Answer: You might want to look for a larger pet carrier. My fur baby is only 10 pounds. Not sure if HITCH makes on for larger animals. -

My cat is an outdoor cat, so she still has her claws. Will this carrier stand up to scratching?
Answer: Yes. My 8 are all indoor cats, but they all still have their claws. My big guy, at 22 pounds, has claws so sharp and thick that the vet uses professional dog style clippers on them as I can't cut them myself. I usually put the carrier in the front room several days before vet appointments so they can all get used to seeing it before I need to use it. The carrier gets jumped on, slept on and in, and played with by all 8, and so far it has held up beautifully. -

How to fold back down
Answer: I had no difficulty folding back down. You just manipulate until it folds. -
Question:
Has anyone successfully brought the larger one on a plane?
Answer: I don’t know as I have never air traveled with my pet. I use my carrier for grooming trips and vet trips. -

I have a ~8lb cat, will the m be enough? or should i get the l? i want to make sure she has enough room.
Answer: My 10lb cat has a cozy fit. too much empty space makes the bag harder to carry, in my opinion. -

Can 2 big guinea pigs fit in a large?
Answer: Absolutely! I use this carrier for a 16lb main coon cat. She can move around within it easily. I would use some sort of pad under the guinea pigs or they will ruin the fabric on the bottom. I also worry that they may nibble they're way right on out of this carrier, since it's mesh not wire. Hope this help -
Question:
Can someone please measure their large carrier? my large is 19l x 12w x 12h, which does not match the listing description.
Answer: You were sent the wrong size or item. My MEDIUM carrier is 17 x 12 x 12...if you ordered a large something is wrong. -
Question:
has anyone been able to remove the side bars to allow it to be more flexible? AA wants it under the seat and doesn't seem like it would fit
Answer: I wouldn't do that as it will then have no support and would collapse onto the pet inside! It is flexible and does fit under a seat.
