  • Question: Has anybody used this for baking deep dish or Detroit style pizza?

    Answer: I have not use this pan for that purpose.
  • Question: Are the sides of this pan completely vertical or do they slant out at the top at all?

    Answer: Sides are completely vertical with the 1/2 inch flange at the top. Best pan I have ever used for lasagna and all kinds of baked goodies. I had one and the one I ordered was for my daughter who saw mine.
  • Question: Is this a heavy pan?

    Answer: It's not super heavy but I get great results and sharp corners. I highly recommend this pan! And I am a Wilton instructor and friends and family baker.
  • Question: Item description says 1.6mm thickness, 16 gauge. but Aluminium 's 16 gauge is 1.291mm. not 1.6mm. Please tell me actual thickness.

    Answer: I have no idea how to measure the thickness. It feels heavy enough for a cake pan.

    Answer: Yes it is but the pan will lose its shine in the dishwasher. This is only cosmetic. I love mine for straight sided sharp corners for cakes but I use it for many others baking uses.
